Anonymous declares war on United States

The UK Independent has revealed the identity of the hacker in the News of the World hacking case. Guy’s name is Philip Campbell Smith.

U.S. suspending drone flights?
I said the other day that I didn’t think that Iran could hack U.S. drones. Debka is saying that I was wrong.
I still think they should have been quiet about it but they don’t take hack-craft advice from me.
This Iranian is saying they did it via the GPS system. New advice: Keep talking, scumbags.
Oh, and give us back our spy.
News of the World hacking update – some settlements
The BBC reports that seven of the World of the News/News International hacking victims have settled.
In other news, it may also have included computer hacking as well as phone.

Closing in on some bad guys
From the Sydney Morning Herald:
“As few as 12 different Chinese groups, largely backed or directed by the government there, commit the bulk of the China-based cyber attacks stealing critical data from US companies and government agencies, according to US cybersecurity analysts and experts.”
Not sure what the government plans to do about but shining a spot light on these groups may make them scurry back to their holes.
